Here's a view of the new mobile antenna farm :-) ... showing the longest of the grounded mast bases. The first pix shows the 80M coil on top of my 60" mast while the second pix is the 40M coil on top of the 80" mast. They are both made from aluminum tubing and the feed point is at the base of the coil.

And here's the coils I use on the car setup now. I've also used the ATAS100 on that back of the car but after installing the amplifier there was no point in leaving it there. Now the only antennas I travel with are the coils.

From March through September 1999 I worked 39 countries from this location off Highway 92, on the East Side of the San Mateo Bridge and near the Hayward Shoreline Preserve.
